wellness workshop set up secondary school teenagers

We Are Worthy was founded by experienced secondary school and yoga teacher, Sheena Worthy in 2021 in response to the increasing wellbeing needs of young people in the community. The team offers workshops, immersions and a term-based program that aim to increase the overall health and wellbeing of young people aged 12-20 by providing life-changing wellbeing tools for youth to use in their everyday lives.

The We Are Worthy Wellness program offers sessions that are safe, fun, inclusive and practical, allowing the participants to become aware of their thoughts and habits and to gain strategies to cope with life’s ups and downs. We show how evidence-based mindfulness, breathing techniques and wellness philosophy can be applied to modern-day settings and used by young people to benefit their mental and physical health.
