Workshops

These modern wellness crash courses are one-off, targeted sessions that increase young people’s awareness of their thoughts and habits and provide practical tools to increase wellbeing practices in their daily lives.

Workshops offer a taster of the We Are Worthy Term Program providing tools for mindful living in the modern world.

Sessions are interactive and combine activity, gentle movement and discussion.

All We Are Worthy Workshops

  • Cater specifically for age groups between 12-20 years
  • Are evidence-based incorporating mindfulness practises, as well as gentle movement (suitable for all fitness levels and abilities)
  • Incorporate fun and practical activities within the session, engaging young people specifically
  • Have a wellbeing focus that provides take-home tools for participants to use in their daily lives
  • Are ideally suited for groups between 5 and 25 participants per workshop
  • Are linked to the Victorian and Australian curriculum
  • Are inclusive and welcoming of diverse participants needs
  • Include all materials
  • Are fully customisable to suit your school or setting, participants needs and desired outcomes
  • Come to your school or setting for your convenience
  • Have a short survey/assessment component to track the benefits of the program for your participants
  • Are run by a qualified, VIT registered teacher with 200hrs Yoga Alliance training 
  • Are Covid safe and use your own yoga mats (if preferred)

Information for all Sessions

  • Sessions run between 60-75minutes and are tailored to suit your school or settings time requirements
  • Can be run in any order, across multiple days, independently or as an intensive half-day session
  • Include all materials, including a take-home worksheet for students, with a toolbox of wellness practices to support participants after the session
  • Require a quiet and uninterrupted room to set up

Example of a We Are Worth It 60min workshop structure-

5 min: introduction, agreements and setting a safe space

10min: mindful movement and inclusive yoga sequence for grounding

15min: finding our strengths game in groups

15min: reflective discussion/writing

10min: guided meditation and relaxation

5min: plenary and feedback opportunity

Cost: only $20 per participant*

*based on 5-30 participants per session, minimum $300 fee for Metro-Melbourne, see FAQ for more info
